I noticed my journals all start with the word, 'So'.

I decided to write an entry that didn't!

Today is going to be good, having a SUCS beach party where people are going to dig massive holes XD

Just bought loads of food for the BBQs, decided to get enough for 50 people (roughly 100 are coming) so hopefully people will bring their own stuff. Should be interesting, as there are going to be past members there... I'll get to see some of the people I've been talking to online in real life ;)

Also, it's the end of my exams!!!!!! Had my last one yesterday morning, and it went really well. Asides from them asking me to stop writing at the end because I misread the time as 10:55 when it was 11:00.... oops heh. Oh well, my essay ended on half a sentence :(

Now all that's left is waiting for results :S It's not really hit me yet that I've truly finished my first year at uni...

So the scifi society I'm in at university is thinking of going as a group to scifi cons... does anyone know if there are discount rates for students/large group bookings?

So... as I'm on the exec for the Computer Society here (SUCS - Swansea University Computer Society) and it's the 20th year we've been going we've all decided to organise a conference, which should be awesome :D

So... if anyones got any advice for doing this kind of thing it would be very welcome XD I've figured it's a bit like a scifi convention but more serious...

And if anyone knows of any good, cheap catering services tell me please! :)
